Since religion claims to have the answer to the question, "What hapens to me after I die?" I think it only appropriate that we go look at what the chief book that religions claim has the answer to this question. Let's see if the book, the "Bible" for Christians and the Tanakh for Jews, has to say about what happens after we die.

Since the so-called "New Testament" isn't found in the Tanakh; and since the so-called "New Testament" is touted by Christianity to be the fulfillment and verification of what the Tanakh, teaches; I think we will stick with the "original", the Tanakh, for the first part of the answer to this question. After all, if the answer is found in the Tanakh, then if the so-called "New Testament" is what Christianity claims it is, then it will teach exactly the same thing the Tanakh teaches.
