In fact, if the accounts indicate anything at all, it is that regardless of how one has lived one's life, one is gathered to the same place as one's people are gathered.

If, for example, some of one's people were "bad" or "unsaved" and went to Hell; and some of one's people were "good" or "saved" and went to "Heaven", then no matter which place you go when you die you would not be gathered to your people. You would only be gathered to some of your people.

This is not to say that there is no "Heaven" and no "Hell" mentioned in the scriptures; but those two topics are subjects of another set of questions, aren't they?
